Perfect for Solo Hikers
When I arrived after a long day, Carmen immediately offered me some fresh milk for my coffee, which was a lifesaver! Plus, the breakfast spread was massive, enough to fuel my entire day of hiking, with all the good stuff you could imagine. It really set me up for the miles ahead.
Yeah, it wasn't exactly cheap, but considering the service, it was acceptable.

Had a blast with friends! We visited some stunning local hikes and enjoyed cozy cafés. The hosts were super friendly and really accommodating. Our room was spotless with loads of hot drink options. Breakfast large with cereals, toast, and a hearty full Scottish. Perfectly located for outdoor adventures. Highly recommend for your next getaway!
The only downside was that there could have been a bit more dusting done around the place, though it didn’t really affect our stay overall.

The breakfast at Clifton Cottage is pure magic, featuring generous portions of local delights like hearty porridge and a fully loaded fry-up that'll set any hiker straight! Tom and Carmen really go the extra mile, making you feel right at home. Plus, the cozy vibe in their picnic area screams 'chill and unwind' after a day on the West Highland Way.
The only thing I could pick on is a wee bit of dust here and there, but honestly, who cares when the service is top-notch and everything else shines?
